Nuri Kim is a third year JD candidate in Sungkyunkwan University Law School in Seoul, South Korea. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Management Engineering from Pohang University of Science and Technology. She is interested in human rights issues and worked on various volunteering opportunities such as teaching children math at a community child welfare center, teaching labor law to vocational high school students, and supporting legal professionals at a free legal advice program for foreign laborers in South Korea. Throughout her internship at HRNK, she is eager to learn about human rights issues in North Korea and to contribute to pushing these issues into the public sphere in South Korea.

Internship Application

Successful applicants will undergo a formal interview process before being offered an internship. Applications will be processed on a rolling basis. We strongly recommend that applicants apply at least 3 months prior to their anticipated start date. Internships are typically unpaid, but academic credit is honored. A minimum commitment of 20 working hours per week is preferred. Please upload your documents in the .doc format.
