Maureen Brown is a senior undergraduate student at Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana. She is studying History and English Literature. Maureen spent a year studying abroad in Maynooth, Ireland and her travels inspired her to become a peer mentor to international students studying at Saint Mary's. Her experiences abroad also encouraged her interest in international affairs. Maureen hopes to learn more about the conditions in North Korea and how to promote the development of human rights for the benefit of its residents.
Successful applicants will undergo a formal interview process before being offered an internship. Applications will be processed on a rolling basis. We strongly recommend that applicants apply at least 3 months prior to their anticipated start date. Internships are typically unpaid, but academic credit is honored.
