Brian Wild

Legal Research Intern
  • Spring 2019 - Summer 2019

Brian Wild is a rising third-year student at the University of Hawaii (UH) William S. Richardson School of Law. At UH, Brian currently serves as the Sam L. Cohen International Human Rights Fellow. Brian was recently elected Co-Editor-in-Chief of the UH Asian-Pacific Law and Policy Journal, and is also member of UH’s Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court team. Brian’s interest in North Korean affairs came after taking a human rights course with UH law professor Tae-ung Baik, a member of the U.N. Human Rights Council Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances. While at HRNK, Brian is eager to get a hands-on perspective of how international human rights advocacy works, and how policymakers develop strategies for tackling one of the most pressing geopolitical issues of the 21st century.
