Research Intern
  • Summer 2021 - Summer 2021

Jason Yoo is a recent graduate of Harvard College, where he studied Social Studies with a focus on race, inequality, and social change. As part of his college’s Human Rights in North Korea committee and interacting with refugees, Jason learned about the unjust conditions lived by the people of North Korea. In the past, Jason was a staff member for Korean American Grassroots Conference, an organization that advocated for change on international policies like reunification and division of families. This summer, he is excited to conduct further research on the broad issue of disparities experienced by refugees and the current political discourse on effective policy reforms.
